We should have seen the warning signs in our early conversations with Legacy. Even in the initial design sessions we had to constantly remind our sales rep of requests we had made in the previous session. And there was always a great rush to get signed checks but no urgency about anything else. It took almost exactly a year from the time we signed our contract for them to finish our kitchen remodel. (Though yes we had to pause for 2 months because of the pandemic.) Though many of the individuals we worked with at Legacy were friendly and professional, overall I felt like our project was forgotten. I had to basically project manage this myself and send them lists of what needed to be done. Communication was terrible. I had to email multiple times and call to get updates and to get them to finish things that their people told me needed to be done. Even now there are little things that aren’t right but we just feel like being done with them and don’t want them to come back. This includes installing the wrong backsplash even though I sent them pictures that we took with them of the desired backsplash in their showroom. I’m sure Legacy has been great with other customers but our experience has been very disappointing and I would not recommend them to anyone else.
